Frequently Asked Questions Q: How can Contractor Network UK guarantee 50 leads or more each month? A: We track thousands of new projects throughout the UK each year including new-builds, conversions, extensions and refurbishments. Whether you need leads at the initial stage of a project - when a client and architect/surveyor will be your named contacts - or at the next stage, when the Main Contractor has been appointed, Contractor Network UK will guarantee you a fixed number of leads each month. Q: Why choose Contractor Network UK? A: Every lead is tailored to suit your requirements: Location: We can source your leads from any or all areas of the UK: locally; by county or counties; by region or regions; or nationwide. We won't charge you more if you want to cover the entire UK. Similarly, we won't charge you more if you would like us to source your leads from within your local area, i.e. a 30-50 mile radius of your premises. Size of project: If a project is too big or too small for your company it's a wasted lead. We use the Lead Selection form to ensure you only receive information that is relevant to your business. Type of project: We don't use generic terms for project categories, i.e. 'commercial'. See the Lead Selection form (pdf 24kb) for a full list of project categories. Q: How many contracts can I expect to win? A: Most of our subscribers cover the cost of their subscription within the first two months. If you take a pro-active approach to the leads you will secure new contracts and win new business. Q: Do I pay commission on the contracts I win? A: No. Q: What action should I take when I receive the leads? A: Choose the one you are most comfortable with: Sales Literature: Send a letter of introduction, sales literature or brochure followed two to three days later with an introductory telephone call to the decision maker. This is considered the most polite way to introduce your company and is very succesful. Phone Call: A more direct approach is to telephone the decision maker as soon as you receive the leads. This method can also be extremely successful, however, it does have its pitfalls. You may be asked to send some literature. You may be asked to arrange an appointment. You may be asked to quote or tender for the contract. However, you may get a lukewarm response, particularly if you have called at an inconvenient time. Q: How are the leads delivered? A: By email in all of the following formats: 1. PDF: single pdf file, one lead per page; 2. Word Document: single Word document, one lead per page; 3. Excel worksheet: single Excel worksheet ready to be imported into your own database. Q: How often are the leads delivered? A: The first month's leads are delivered in a single batch unless you prefer otherwise. Thereafter the leads can be delivered weekly, fortnightly or monthly, whichever suits you most. Please let your account manager know which you prefer. Q: When will I receive the first set of leads? A: Within 2 to 5 days of receipt of your payment. (All subscriptions must be paid for in advance by cheque or bank transfer.) Q: How do I subscribe? A: Call us today on 024 7670 5614, or Email us, or request a callback and of our account managers will contact you shortly. We hope we have answered any questions you may have.
